Coastal Series
2022 Connecticut State Community College System, Professional Development Grant Awarded to painting a coastal series in New England. These are two-hour Alla Prima plein air paintings done in Maine, "Alla Prima", "meaning the painting is done in a single sitting". The concept here is about how color expresses the passing of time through changing weather, season and/or time of day.
